Welcome...

The firm’s practice is concentrated in appellate litigation in state and federal courts and consulting with trial counsel on appellate strategy. We also maintain a trial court practice primarily involving litigation of complex civil matters such as corporate and partnership ownership and control disputes, declaratory judgment actions, and requests for injunctive relief.

The firm’s principal, Timothy J. Storm, has over 15 years’ trial and appellate litigation experience. He has represented parties and amici curiae in the Supreme Courts of Illinois, Indiana, and Delaware, the intermediate appellate courts of Illinois and numerous other states, and the federal circuit courts of appeal for several circuits. Mr. Storm has tried numerous cases to verdict in bench and jury trials.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Storm is involved in educating lawyers and future lawyers as an adjunct professor teaching appellate advocacy at The John Marshall Law School and as the author of a book, practice guides, and numerous published articles covering many aspects of appellate and trial practice.
